K-BAR Story Hour Premieres to Capacity Crowd

Live literary broadcast sells out its first night, and the night after that

FORT WORTH, Texas, October 2026 —

K-BAR 88.3 debuted K-BAR Story Hour, a live reading series that opened with a full house and a very tall cat in a very tall hat.

The premiere ran its scheduled length and ended promptly at lights out. Requests for an encore were received and denied.

“The audience was engaged from the first page,” said Daddy. “There were some interruptions. We have edited those out.”

Story Hour airs nightly. Doors at 7:00.
